Aftercare
- Avoid facial massages, rubbing, or other facial treatments in the treated area for at least 2 weeks.
- Avoid opening the mouth wide, chewing hard food, or excessive facial movement during the first 3–5 days.
- Sleep on your back and avoid sleeping face down or pressing on your face during the first week.
- Avoid strenuous exercise and saunas for about 1–2 weeks.
Who should consult a doctor first
- Pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Infections or open wounds on the face where threads will be inserted.
- Bleeding disorders or taking blood thinners.
- Active chronic skin diseases on the face; please inform the doctor before assessment.
Downtime
Swelling, tightness, or bruising along the thread lines may occur for 3–7 days; some individuals may feel tightness or a pulling sensation on the face for up to 2 weeks.
